Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding to the appropriate accounts.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage payroll-related tasks, including processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Administer employee benefits and assist with related inquiries.
- Collaborate with human resources to ensure accurate employee data is reflected in financial systems.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Assist in the preparation of tax-related documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide support for month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with payroll management and benefits administration is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial concepts and technical accounting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
