Job Description
What’s the Indigo Team at Wellmark? is a full-service marketing communications agency that creates custom communication materials for Wellmark’s large group clients.
As the Marketing Account Manager intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Indigo account manager and the larger Indigo team with the development and delivery of customized marketing campaigns and communications that help Wellmark health plan members better understand their health and pharmacy benefits and use them wisely.
What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include :
- Build core knowledge and understanding of the health insurance industry, emerging health insurance trends, and Wellmark’s products, services and commitment to our members.
- Gain valuable experience in day-to-day account management and managing client relationships.
- Support the Indigo account manager with development of a variety of communication materials, content, and tasks, including (but not limited to) research, development of marketing communication strategy and materials, project briefs, Scopes of Work, presentations, agendas for client meetings and more.
- Attend in-person and virtual client meetings, capturing notes, next steps and opportunities for the team.
- Work with account manager to develop project timelines (internal / external). Drive client projects through internal creative development and review process and adherence to brand standards, strategy and budget. Capture client feedback in a structured manner so that each iteration moves the deliverable forward.
- Collaborate with account manager to determine campaign performance metrics. Analyze available data to determine campaign success, and develop summaries of campaign results.
- Establish relationships with different stakeholders within Business Development and Client Solutions (BDCS) to understand their responsibilities and how Indigo supports them.
- Collaborate with Indigo team members to develop a standardized process for developing Key Account overview profiles and supporting reference materials.
- Take lead on ad hoc research projects and share findings on specific health and well-being topics with the Indigo team and other stakeholders.
