Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Bilingual Chiropractic Assistant to join our chiropractic practice! This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for holistic health, and the ability to manage administrative tasks with ease. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel to all four clinic locations as needed. Experience required. Attending the administrative side of running a chiropractic office, and back office. Work under the supervision of a fully licensed chiropractor, attending to the management of the medical office. Checking in patients and taking care of anything else the chiropractor might need to effectively run a medical practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Chiropractic Assistant
- Be able to manage multiple locations and employees.
- Greet patients, check them in, and confirm insurance status and payment methods.
- Take general diagnostic information (e.g., blood pressure, weight, height) and record it for the chiropractor’s use. Work back office with therapies, and equipment.
- Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and confirmations to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Collect and process payments from patients and insurance companies.
- Handle front desk operations, emails, and phone inquiries professionally and promptly. Answers patient's questions and/or concerns.
- Ensure the waiting room is welcoming and well-maintained, addressing patient needs.
- Distribute educational materials as directed by the chiropractor.
- Maintain organized patient files, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in keeping the office clean and presentable throughout the day. Spot cleaning throughout the day and through cleaning at the end of each business day.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Be able to manage and travel multiple locations and employees.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical office practices. (not required but useful)
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with technology, fast typing skills, and ability to learn medical and billing software.
- Willingness to undergo additional training, including therapy techniques or X-ray procedures. Alignment with a holistic health philosophy and ability to educate patients on its benefits.
Work Environment
- Interact with patients and staff regularly at the front desk.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Flexibility to work occasional late nights or weekends.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma, and/or medical assistant certification, Associate’s is a plus.
- Two to three years of experience in a chiropractic lead field.
Job Details:
- Part-Time/Full-Time: 30-40 hours. Includes travel to multiple clinic locations throughout the week. (Chamblee, Marietta, Stockbridge, Riverdale)
