Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Duties

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for patients across various age groups.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide therapy and counseling services to patients in outpatient settings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Engage in research activities to contribute to the field of psychology and improve treatment methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in psychological practices and behavioral health.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Psychologist.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with outpatient care settings and knowledge of geriatric and pediatric psychology is a plus.
  • Strong skills in psychological testing and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and research within the field of psychology.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $97,299.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
  • Engage in crisis intervention as necessary to support clients in distress.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and treatment outcomes.
  • Provide telehealth services to accommodate clients' needs for remote therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.

Skills

  • Strong background in psychotherapy techniques, including individual and group counseling.
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and understanding their unique needs.
  • Proficient in psychological testing methods for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Ability to perform crisis intervention effectively when needed.
  • Excellent supervisory skills for guiding junior staff or interns in clinical settings.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and clinical counseling practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the ability to provide remote therapy sessions effectively.
