Job Description
Wellness Pharmacy Services is looking for an energetic team player to join our growing team as a pharmacy technician in a closed-door setting. This is part-time weekend position. The position is for the Saturday-Sunday 11am-9pm shift. There may be an opportunity to work alternating weekends.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answer incoming calls and direct calls when necessary to Pharmacist
- Order entry for new and refill requests that may include entering patient demographics, insurance, and prescription instructions
- Locate medication from pharmacy supply area, count out, and package in correct system, including blister packs, pouches, vials, etc.
- Restock and reorder necessary pharmacy inventory
- Checks stock to remove outdated items, as often as deemed necessary by the Pharmacist
Qualifications
- Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines
- Excellent customer services skills
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers
- Ability to work within a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in LTC pharmacy, hospital, retail or other health care pharmacy is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 22 per week

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends only
Experience:
- Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)
