The Assistant Director of Life Learning and Housing will provide overall management and direction to one or more social service or mental health programs of the organization, including but not limited to: management of supervisory staff, development and control of program budgets, ensuring program activities comply with contracts, development and implementation of policies and procedures, active participation in obtaining funds and grants, coordinating or integrating the programs within the organization, representing and furthering the programs and the organization to the community, providing supervision to supervisors/managers in respective divisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Oversees and coordinates service delivery activities to ensure compliance with any and all contracts and statements of work per the Intensive Services Program

Acts as a Clinical Supervisor for the program when the needs arise which includes providing staff with weekly individual and group supervision. Provides supervision of staff which may include, but is not limited to Therapists, Case Managers, Employment Specialist, Substance Abuse Counselor and other staff member of the program

Maintains program productivity records and generates periodic reports regarding program activity

Holds budgetary responsibility for the program including ensuring the appropriate use of Flex Funds, maintaining the contractual census, and overseeing the allocation of buckets

Ensures the contractual obligation of the Department of Rehabilitation Commission (DOR) and maintaining any and all requirements pertaining to Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

Ensures the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating of staffs’ performances

Is responsible for collaborating with internal departments including, but not limited to Accounting, Total Quality Management (TQM) and Human Resources

Is responsible for the collaboration and fostering of external partners that maintain and contribute to the success of the program

Is actively involved and be a representative of the organization at internal and external meetings

Ensures that all clinical records meet and maintain the standards of the organization, contract, legal and ethical governing bodies; along with county, state and federal mandates.

Ensures the compliance of any and all necessary outcome measure per contract and organizational compliance

Other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent from an accredited college or university is required. At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience in supervising licensed and unlicensed mental health clinicians providing services to children and their families is required AND A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in implementing and supporting programs is preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid CA license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to start and lead programs, tolerate change & learn multiple LA County systems of mental health services is also required
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Employee may be asked to pursue additional training when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Company. Employee must have the ability to use a personal vehicle with the required insurance coverage to complete the essential duties of their job and conduct agency business. Employee must maintain a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record that meets Wellnest’s insurance carrier’s criteria for liability coverage. In keeping with Company policy for all employees, the successful applicant must also complete a test for TB, and fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Employee regularly works indoors in a standard office environment, and travels to multiple offices and Company locations within the greater Los Angeles Area. Employee may be required to work flexible, evening and/or weekend hours for time-sensitive projects.

Qualifications
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Annualized Salary Range: $95,024 to $106,770
