Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a Senior Living apartment community. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for serving the elderly, ensuring that every resident has a memorable experience. As the first point of contact for visitors and residents, the Front Desk receptionist will provide information, assistance and support with miscellaneous administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and professionaly
- Respond promptly to residents' inquiries and requests via phone, email, or in-person.
- Assist with the scheduling of community tours
- Answer multi-line phone calls in a timely manner
- Handle resident complaints with professionalism and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Provide clerical support to management team
- Stay informed about hotel services, amenities, and local events to provide accurate information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the senior living industry or hospitality setting, is preferred.
- Must be able to speak, write and read in English
- Microsoft Office experience is a must ( Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resident relations.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to assist residents and visitors
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
