Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Internet Sales Manager to lead our dealership's online sales efforts. In this role, you will oversee incoming leads, schedule appointments, and drive online sales while assisting the Sales Manager in daily operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing, training, and motivating the sales team to maximize performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to all incoming internet and phone leads, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Assist the Sales Manager in overseeing the sales team and improving overall department performance.
- Set and track monthly sales goals for the department and individual team members.
- Train, coach, and motivate the sales staff to enhance skills and increase closing rates.
- Monitor and report on department progress, keeping sales management and the General Manager informed.
- Continuously implement new strategies to improve department effectiveness and drive revenue.
- Ensure the dealership meets or exceeds all internet and phone sales objectives set by management.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and trust.
- Experience in outbound sales, particularly in automotive or related industries.
- Proficient in upselling techniques to enhance the customer buying experience.
- Solid math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with sales management principles and practices is beneficial.
- Experience in providing sales support and managing customer inquiries effectively.
- Proficient in cold calling techniques to generate new leads and opportunities.
