About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant to join the Strategy, Transformation, and Automated Controls (STAC) team to focus on analytical data driven reviews tied to enterprise controls for CEDA’s Automated QA Review Program.
This individual will assist supporting the development and implementation of various analytic products inclusive of developing new automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records so little to no manual review is required. Along with sourcing data populations, sampling and loading populations into various applications.
The Analytics Consultant will be responsible for multiple activities related to business analysis, that include consulting and partnering with senior level leaders, providing data-driven insights and developing analytical solutions to support a wide array of high priority business initiatives. The ability to capture and aggregate data is essential to driving action through proactive oversight.
This individual will help identify and design analytic solutions to identify process gaps and anomalies using data to enable automation. Automation will reduce the complexity of the QC/QA process by integrating a data driven approach to provide our business partners the ability to perform their work as the efficiency and scale needed to optimize their operating models. This position will have the ability to translate complex business rules and processes into actionable insights using data and advance analytic mindset.

In this role, you will:
Support the development and implementation of new automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records.
Identify and design analytic solutions to identify process gaps and anomalies using data to enable automation. Automation will reduce the complexity of the QC/QA process by integrating a data driven approach to provide our business partners the ability to perform their work as the efficiency and scale needed to optimize their operating models.
Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions to automate manual business processes
Lead complex initiatives by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques and business processes to make actionable insights, and recommendations to automating control requirements
Use functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision making
Perform analysis of understanding business processes and translating those into data technical expertise and documenting those process
Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency
Develop customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to less experienced staff
Understand compliance and risk management requirements for multiple business units
Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals.
Required Qualifications:
2 years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2 years’ experience and knowledge working in SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio or SAS Viya
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams.
Front line or second line monitoring experience with QA, QC, SAA, ICP, IT&V or Controls experience
Desired Qualifications:
2 years of Voice of customer channel/contract center technology data (IVR, Telephony, Text, Chat, Dialer Call Recording, Quality) data experience
Experience in one or more of the following lines of business data environment: Fraud & Claim, Wholesale, Credit Cards, Shared Services Ops, CSBBO, Auto, Info Management
Understanding of crontab automation techniques
Experience with SAS Visual Analytics
Deep understanding of the Wells Fargo control program
Experience working with data visualization tools, ETL processing, application ingestion
Understanding of enterprise contact center data, enterprise data lake, use case development with business and technology partners, data strategy background, experience, quality system of record and data stores for transactional business processes.
Experience working with large and complex data within the financial services industry.
Experience working with process automation and documentation
Document data elements, mapping and metrics for traceability/lineage
Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment while staying focused on business objectives.
Ability to summarize findings and explain in plain language for a broad audience.
Ability to collaborate with multiple business partners at all levels of the organization.
