Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work with data scientists to test, validate and deploy ML models to Production, as well as work on models trained on Google cloud to be deployed using our best practices and mlops framework. This role (AIML Engineer) requires in-depth experience in overall design, testing and deployment & support of Machine Learning models and developing Data engineering pipelines using python, ETL, DCT framework. The candidate would have extensive experience with Spark, Hadoop, python, ETL, SQL, CI/CD and release management. The candidate is expected to operationalize models using CI/CD framework to deploy and test models in an Agile way and ensure the models conform to the Automation framework principles and follows all standards. As well as the candidate is expected to build data pipelines integrating many data sources with Hadoop based data lake.

In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4 years of experience in ETL, data analytics
3 years of experience in Hadoop, Unix/shell scripting
2 years Python experience
Desired Qualifications:
4 years of software engineering experience
4 years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka
4 years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) applications
2 years of experience with testing, deploying & supporting ML models on production and strong knowledge of ML algorithms
4 years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
3 years of experience with multiple RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata or DB2 LUW
3 years of experience in one or a combination of the following Wells Fargo data management & integration tools: Data Control Tool/Data Control Integration (DCT/DCI), Enterprise (EMH), Collibra Data Governance
3 years of financial services experience
Job Expectations:
Designs and Develops & Supports Data engineering pipelines using python, ETL, DCT framework to ingest data from Teradata to Hadoop data lake.
Be familiar with autosys job scheduling tool and be able to deploy complex data pipelines in autosys.
Be familiar with various Machine learning algorithms, frameworks and the lifecycle of ML development.
Experienced in overall design, testing and deployment of ML models and scoring pipelines on production
Knowledge of public cloud and application modernization
