The National Accounts Sales Manager reports to the EVP Sales and Marketing and may manage multiple sales managers or teams and set targets to measure firm performance. This role builds long-lasting relationships with key clients (external), the sales team and internal Department Heads to provide long-term profitability for the firm.
In the National Accounts Sales Manager role you are expected to use your high-level sales expertise in collaboration with the E.V.P. of Sales and Marketing to develop and drive effective company sales strategies. A high level of communication and training field sales teams is critical to success in this position. A key element in this role is an understanding of market trends and behaviors to inform and guide the company’s sales efforts. Success in this role is demonstrated by meeting sales targets, hiring and training of sales representatives and maintaining a strong brand presence in the 503B market segment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Meets and exceeds company revenue goals
• Designs and implements effective sales strategies for the firm
• Generates sales reports and forecasts
• Monitors company sales performance
• Monitors and manages sales team member performance
• Analyzes market trends and behaviors
• Leads sales teams nationwide by recruiting, hiring and training members of the sales team
• Key account management
• Training, Strategy, and Tactics
• Collecting and reporting of competitive intelligence
• Other duties may be assigned by then supervisor.
EDUCATION , EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management positions
• Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce.com and other sales management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
• 3 years of 503B Outsourcing Facility sales and management experience
• Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities
• Works well under pressure
• Working knowledge of market trends and behaviors
• Highly skilled at motivating and training of sales team members
