Bobcat/Massey Ferguson Service Technician

Overview:

Wellsboro Equipment, a trusted Bobcat and Massey Ferguson dealership, is looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. As a Bobcat/Massey Ferguson Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Bobcat and Massey Ferguson equipment for our customers. You will play a key role in ensuring that our equipment is in top working condition, providing exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on Bobcat and Massey Ferguson equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues in equipment and determine the best course of action for repairs.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify problems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Work closely with the service department to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate service records for all equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers when necessary.
• Stay updated on new Bobcat products, services, and industry trends.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area and shop equipment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a service technician, with a focus on heavy equipment, construction machinery, or similar industries. Bobcat or Massey Ferguson experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of issues on Bobcat and Massey Ferguson equipment.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in equipment repair is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must provide own basic tools. Specialty tools are provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
