Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting trade and market surveillance team.
- Will conduct root cause analysis on production job failures, will run queries, find issues, and fix the issues.
- Identify gaps when utilizing advanced SQL queries.
- Participate in daily Scrum calls.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Strong experience with application development and implementation experience using Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Python/Scala.
- Strong Experience in T-SQL Development such as complex stored procedures, data load, views.
- Design and develop ETL to move data from various sources preferably from Flat files, JSON, Oracle and experience with FTP, NDM.
- Experience in writing AUTOSYS JIL (Job Information Language) Commands.
- Deployment of Database components from lower environment to UAT/Production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Experience with Agile tools.
- Financial services industry experience preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing process solutions for automation. (preferred)
- Build-deploy automation and configuration experience. (preferred)
- Advanced SQL & Data Development experience. (preferred)
- Experience with DevOps environments. (preferred)
