Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across experience design, such as content design, design programs, design research and strategy, or product design. Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking. Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative experience design business solutions. Strategically engage with client personnel.
Responsibilities:
As a Lead Product Designer, you will utilize your full range of product design skills (design thinking, interaction design, visual design. information architecture, user research) in exploring. proposing, and developing the building blocks for world-class administration, entitlements, and authentication experiences. Our designers are highly collaborative and partner closely with product owners, developers, design peers and partners to seek feedback gain insights and ensure design solutions are elegant. scalable, and technically feasible. You'll be leading insights-driven design efforts with a lean UX and agile approach to delivery.
Key responsibilities include engaging with partners and customers to connect experience insights with design outcomes, crafting design solutions, consulting on design direction with peers and partners, delivering supporting artifacts, and contributing to Agile planning and ceremonies. Also, in close partnership with Product and Technology leads, you will prioritize, plan, and organize the flow of design work and sprints to support target releases.
In this role, you will:
• Lead complex initiatives including those that provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams
• Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites
• Be accountable for overseeing the execution of strategic design projects that influence design and strategic direction of the company
• Review and analyze complex industry leading user interface design solutions that require the evaluation of multiple factors
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Manage the execution of strategic design projects that influence design and strategic direction of the company
• Serve as design advocate with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design alternatives
• Build and enhance working relationships within the information and interface design function and community outside of the company
• Provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams
• Lead customer experience strategy for platforms and products
• Influence roadmaps and business decisions by providing customer experience considerations and participate in roadmap planning and virtual teams

Required Qualifications:

- Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Desired Qualifications:
- An abundance of enthusiasm for creating journey-based digital experiences and the connective tissue between journeys to support end-to-end customer expectations and needs
- Systems thinker with prior experience designing for and planning work within an end-to-end journey for digital services in a complex channel ecosystem
- Expertise in design craft, including information architecture, information design, design specification, and instructional design documentation with command of common design tools, most notably Figma or Mural
- Experience with driving digital customer experience change and using data to inform design outcomes and narratives
- Experience with strategic planning and diagrammatic skills (Information Architecture), low fidelity wireframe production, high-fidelity design comp production, and design interaction specifications - including which artifact best suits the communication need
- Experience working effectively within a standards-aligned design environment and knowing when to push design system boundaries as necessary
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, garner feedback incorporate new ideas and communicate effectively and persuasively when conveying design solutions to a broad range of stakeholders: product managers, engineers. customers, etc.
