Job Summary:
The Perioperative Anesthesia Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. As a key member of the healthcare team, the CRNA must possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate empathy towards patients and their families, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthetic agents and medications as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia plans accordingly
- Develop and implement anesthesia management plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and transport patients safely
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient status and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related field
- Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Advanced knowledge of growth and development principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
