Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospital Bed Management Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing bed assignments, coordinating transfers, and ensuring seamless patient flow throughout the hospital.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate all procedure and surgical schedules for accurate bed assignment post-procedure.
- Process information from physicians' offices for direct admits and communicate with the Clinical Safety Supervisor as needed.
- Collaborate with care coordination and physician advisors to review incoming direct admissions or transfers from other facilities.
- Maintain accurate and centralized information for all patients requiring placement in the hospital.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Graduate degree from an accredited LPN or Paramedic program is preferred, along with certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
