Description :
The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing high-quality, individualized, and safe patient care. This position operates in a clinical setting under the direction of Nurse Managers and leaders, supported by shared governance and evidence-based practice models. Responsibilities include :
- Performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care, considering cultural diversity.
- Collaborating effectively with patients and significant others using various methods such as bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching.
- Coordinating and documenting safe and quality patient care using diverse communication methods.
- Participating in performance improvements and shared governance.
- Engaging in professional development and serving as a mentor or preceptor.
- Upholding organizational policies, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
- Supporting the efficient use of resources and participating in the development of clinical protocols.
The role requires working night shifts, including every other weekend and 2 major / 2 minor holidays.
