Job Description:
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for communicating clinic services and programs to the greater community and potential clients. They are responsible for onboarding clients and their families and maintaining quality control over insurance authorizations. The Intake Coordinator position is often held by a Masters level BCBA who also maintains their own caseload.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education OR a related field
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
- BACB Board Certification in good standing
- Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of Alabama
- Completion of 8-hour Supervisor Course
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis working with children
- Experience managing up to 20 RBT’s
- Experience training families
- Writing and adjusting skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Conducting Functional Analyses in a Clinical Setting
- Conducting common ABA assessments (ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, etc.)
What you'll be doing:
- Assess client & family needs
- Complete tours and initial intake meetings
- Provide information about programs to the greater community
- Maintain Registration Packets and Paperwork
- Maintain Client Waitlist
- Schedule and conduct initial assessments
- Initial Authorizations and re-authorizations for Insurance Funders
- Maintain Sharepoint Folders and completed checklists for onboarding
- Maintain positive relationships with Case Managers at different Insurance Funders
- Train professionals/clients that will be assigned to case
- Maintain ReThink client profiles
- Connect families with greater resources within Wellstone and the greater community
- Provide weekly supervision to RBT’s for each client
- Write progress reports and Treatment Plans as scheduled
- Maintain a caseload of 5-10 clients
- Maintain an average of 20 billable hours per week
- Uphold standards of Behavioral Health Center of Excellence
- Practice within the guidelines of the BACB Code of Ethics
- Other duties that may be offered and agreed to: Workshops and/or Trainings on specific topics in Applied Behavior Analysis, School Trainings, Parent Training, or other duties that are related to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and are mutually agreed to by both parties before implementation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to be on feet up to 80% of shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to carry-out QBS Safety-Care Techniques
Required Training:
- CPR
- 8- hour Supervisor Course Required by BACB
- Pass background checks
