Job Description: The Diversions Program Manager is responsible for overseeing programs that divert individuals from the criminal justice system into alternate services by managing the day-to-day operations of Mental Health Courts, Veteran’s Courts, and Pre-Trial Court. This includes managing program operations, collaborating with outside entities and other stakeholders, and evaluating program effectiveness to ensure that program participants receive appropriate services, support, and guidance to address underlying issues contributing to their involvement in the criminal justice system.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring that they are adequately equipped to deliver effective services.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations that provide support services for clients in the diversion program.
- Collect and analyze data to track program outcomes.
- Regularly evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with court personnel to ensure that Diversion Programs are effectively integrated into the legal process.
- Build positive relationships with program participants to provide support, guidance, and access to resources.
- Maintain the policies and procedures for Diversion Programs operation and participant management.
- Serve a specialty courts backup (as CM or therapist).
- Assist with addressing complaints internally and externally.
- Act as Internal Auditor of charts for Diversion Programs.
- Interview candidates when positions become available in Diversions Program department.
- Assist staff with timeclock management issues as needed, approving staff timesheets at the end of each pay period.
- Assist with monthly meetings for the division.
- Supervise case managers and JD therapist within the department.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure in designated clinical field preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of related work experience in AOT Diversion Programs
- Effective written, verbal communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to track data, outcomes, and present information in compliance with federal requirement; attention to detail required
- Strategic thinking skills to provide innovation to areas needing improvement
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local guidelines
