Pay: $46.47 - $65.05 USD per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 (for candidates with 3 years of experience as an Echo Tech)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Echo Tech Lead to join our healthcare team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the Echo Technologists to ensure the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality. You will manage the daily operations of the Echo Department, including scheduling, training, quality control, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and leadership within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the technical performance of Echo and Ultrasound departments, ensuring the team adheres to quality standards.
- Assist with the coordination of schedules, work assignments, and call arrangements for the Echo Technologists.
- Perform TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) exams and coordinate appointments with cardiologists and RNs.
- Provide training and development for new Echo Technologists, and evaluate performance through regular meetings.
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance, preventive checks, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Director to prepare budgets, improve operational processes, and contribute to cost-effective service delivery.
- Monitor and ensure accurate reading/interpretation of exams, liaising with physicians for urgent results.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and adhere to patient safety goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 years of Echo experience preferred. Must have completed an Echo Training Program and have a minimum of one year of clinical experience.
- Certifications: ARDMS certification preferred; current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality care.
- Additional Requirements: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. Ability to deal effectively with staff, physicians, and patients.
