SUMMARY
In support of the Human Capital Team Mission and Vision, the Human Resources Intern will assist with projects in a variety of areas including: Talent Management/Acquisition, Total Rewards/Benefits, Compliance, and Employee Relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with various members of the Human Capital team to support day to day employee relations inquiries and ensure a positive employee relations atmosphere.
- Support compliance related projects to ensure all policies, procedures, and guidelines and remains informed of industry standards and changes within the areas of expertise.
- Assist the Total Rewards team with various compensations and benefits related projects.
- Partner with Internal Communications and Talent Management team on marketing projects that support the business by focusing on strategic goals for internal messaging/branding, communications, and engagement improving the strategy of attracting diverse talent to Welltower.
- Assist with sourcing and identifying talent through a variety of internal and external channels to drive a funnel of top talent interested in open roles at the Welltower.
- Collaborate with the Recruiters to create ideal candidate profiles, job descriptions, and hiring strategies.
- Assist the Talent Management function with projects related to performance management, onboarding, goal setting, training, career pathing and workforce planning.

TRAVEL
Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Prior internship experience in global corporate recruiting and/or general human resources preferred, not required.
Education: Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s program required. Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
