Job Summary
This is a full-time, tenure track faculty position on the Omak campus.
Essential Functions
Teaching and Supervision
- Nursing Theory : Teaching nursing theory courses, likely covering various aspects of nursing practice and patient care.
- Skills Practice Lab : Supervising students in the skills practice lab, ensuring they develop the necessary clinical skills.
- Clinical Experiences : Supervising students in clinical experiences in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community agencies.

This is a full-time, tenure-track, faculty position. The salary for the position is determined by placement on the Wenatchee Valley College full-time faculty schedule ($74,259 to $82,480) for a 9-month, 175-day contract. Class assignments may include day, evening and distance courses. This position is scheduled to start when a qualified candidate is identified. Additional nurse educator stipends are currently available .
Your paycheck is just part of the total compensation package. There is an outstanding benefits package which is worth an additional value equivalent to about 30% of your salary. This position has been designated as a bargaining unit position represented by the Association for Higher Education. Faculty workload, compensation and job expectations are defined by a contract negotiated between the faculty union and the WVC Board of Trustees.
