Volyn Law Firm is a well-established firm in the Wenatchee Valley, and seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal with at least 7 years’ experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, medical negligence, wrongful death, and employment issues. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for achieving justice for our clients, as we are a Plaintiff’s law firm and often litigate complex matters.
The paralegal will work directly with Scott Volyn, firm owner with 33 years trial experience; Commissioner Pro Tem for Chelan County Superior Court, and Adjunct Professor at Wenatchee Valley College for 34 years.
Duties :
- Assist attorney in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research on various issues
- Conduct potential client intake
- Prepare and draft settlement negotiation demand packages
- Track and meet timelines for deliverables
- Facilitate client communication to include case updates, documentation, and scheduling
- Organize and maintain case files including medical records and legal documents
- Communicate with insurance companies, attorneys and healthcare providers
- Manage and organize case files and documentation
- Communicate with clients, courts, and other attorneys
- Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars
- Attend client meetings as needed
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to legal ethics and professional conduct standards
