Salary Range: $44/hr
Schedule: 36 hours/week

Job Description: Wentworth Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our clinical team and ensure exceptional care for our residents. This leadership role is key in maintaining compliance, coordinating care, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Resident Care
- Coordinate healthcare services for residents, ensuring up-to-date medical records and compliance with 805 regulations.
- Complete and maintain Care Plans; schedule and attend resident care meetings.
- Support admissions, internal transfers, and collaborate on quality assurance and outcome tracking.
Leadership
- Provide leadership and collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON), including staff oversight, performance evaluations, and hiring support.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident care and staff satisfaction.
Staff Support & Scheduling
- Oversee staff scheduling for nursing roles (Charge Nurses, LNAs, MNAs) to ensure optimal coverage.
- Respond to call-outs and provide direct clinical support when necessary, including stepping into LNA, MNA, or Nursing roles as needed.
On-Call Rotation
- Participate in an every-third-weekend on-call rotation to support clinical operations and maintain strong relationships with staff and residents.
Regulatory & Policy Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations and facility protocols.
- Assist in policy development and participate in all regulatory surveys and quality initiatives.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in New Hampshire, or active Compact State RN license
- Minimum 35 years of nursing experience in a leadership role within a senior services setting
- Strong knowledge of care planning, state regulations, and quality assurance standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
- MoCA certification (or willingness to obtain)
