- Collaborate with the VP of Worldwide Marketing & Service and the Leadership team to develop the Strategic Plan for Hemostasis & Acute Care Diagnostics.
- Drive cross functional R&D strategic cycle and new product development process.
- Understand new product development process and its effect on the business.
- Continuously evaluate and improve portfolio strategy and prioritization process to drive business improvement and innovation.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic projects within the Hemostasis and Acute Care Diagnostics areas.
- Collaborate with leadership from Marketing, R&D, and Medical Affairs to establish product roadmaps, new technology development strategies and investment opportunities.
- Evaluate new product opportunities, in collaboration with BD, Marketing, R&D, and Medical.
- Standardize and scale best practices and learnings.
- Drive inter-departmental collaboration initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with R&D, Medical Affairs, pharma companies, marketing teams, commercial organizations, and finance departments.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Scientific discipline required.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or PhD in Life Sciences highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in strategic marketing or business development activities, alliance management and execution of strategy projects (preferably from an in-vitro diagnostics or pharma perspective) required.
- Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.
- Excellent leadership skills: ability to lead and influence at various levels and functions of the organization through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
