Summary
Loan Operations services and supports all loan areas of the bank beginning with data entry of new loans and maintaining existing loans through payoff. Loan Operations strives to provide excellent internal and external customer support for existing business and consumer loans.
Responsible for all job activities related to paid loan processing, verifying accuracy of paid loan processing and maintaining the integrity of the loan records. Assists the Loan Operations Team in the documentation, standardization and measurement of key business processes to promote a total quality management environment; allows for the continual improvement and efficiency of key departmental processes. Responsible for providing internal customer support to all lending personnel concerning questions about the loan records on the loan accounting system.

Provides internal customer support.
Learns the loan accounting system.
Learns and understand loan documentation.
Reviews loan data provided for adherence to accuracy and various regulatory and compliance requirements
Processes Paid Loan documents such as releases for Deeds of Trust/Mortgages, vehicles, and deposit accounts, refund checks and Paid Loan letter.
Processes paid loans accurately per department procedures
Performs all duties related to the two daily mail runs in the absence of the regular paid loan associate as needed.
Makes phone calls relative to group duties.
Prepares loan documentation for Dealer Buy Backs.
Researches old liens that were not released when the loan paid off.
Assists with Subpoenas and Summons.
Performs note, file & collateral audits during mergers as well as other times during the year.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Monitors both the Paid Loan group email as well as the File Request Group email as needed.
Learns all applications of Paid Loans as well as various other functions performed by the group as needed.
Indexes the quality assurance functions of imaging documents.
Works cohesively as a team to ensure completion of a common goal.

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing.
