Position Title: Sanitation Associate - 2nd Shift
Hourly Pay: $15.00
* $1.00 shift premium Mon-Friday
*$1.50 shift premium Saturday-Sunday
Work hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm five days a week
Primary Function: Ensuring proper execution of food safety and sanitation processes to assure WESCO provides a safe, efficient environment and quality assurance.
Reporting Relationship: Sanitation Operations Manager
Direct Reports: Sanitation Team Lead
Functions:
- Ensures safe, efficient, and effective execution of the overall sanitation process for central manufacturing establishments.
- Ensures clean facilities via effective hygiene practices through the use of appropriate chemicals and methods.
- Trains on the safe and appropriate use of chemicals, including PPE, dilution, and application.
- Performs environmental monitoring activities in accordance with Wesco’s environmental monitoring programs for controlling Listeria Monocytogenes and preventing allergen cross contamination.
- Works in collaboration with the Sanitation Team Lead to identify operational issues and the implement procedural improvements.
- Ensures all relevant sanitation monitoring documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Works in collaboration with the Sanitation Team Lead and Wesco Maintenance to execute planning for scheduled and unscheduled service of WESCO Manufacturing equipment and assets.
- Promote a customer and associate centric based passion for safety, productivity and quality throughout the organization.
- Is a champion of Safety, works to promote safe culture by staying in compliance with safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 1 years in Food Service Manufacturing Sanitation or related field.
- Understands and advocates WESCO’s commitment to its Mission Statement, Unifying Principles and Company Guidelines.
- Detail oriented and highly motivated team player with the ability to inspire others to achieve desire results while maintaining a “hands on” approach.
- Maintain a professional appearance that is reflective of our commitment to quality.
- Possess the ability to work collaboratively with others, between departments and vendor partners.
- Possess strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle a varied work schedule, including weekends and unexpected situations.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
