Job Description
As Demand Planning Manager, you will lead a newly established demand planning team to focus on building the forward visibility of forecasted sales. You will lead the team in developing and implementing demand planning strategies utilizing Blue Yonder Demand through statistical analysis of sales history and enrichment through close engagement with key business partners - both internal and external.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the demand planning team, providing guidance, training, and support to team members.
- Develop and implement demand planning processes and strategies to improve forecast accuracy and inventory management.
- Utilize Blue Yonder to analyze demand data, generate forecasts, and identify trends and patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure alignment of demand plans with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and inventory management.
- Identify and address potential demand planning issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in demand planning and supply chain management.
- Responsible for supply planning, using statistical analysis models, and Blue Yonder (BY), to determine how the demand will be sourced and to ensure receiving the inventory needed quickly, efficiently, and within budget.
