Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Wesco International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction through proactive sales techniques.
Your primary objective is to interact with existing customers to increase sales of our products and/or services. You will obtain, create, and up-sell orders, adding value to the customer's buying experience. Your goal is to own a book of larger, more complex accounts and demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the inside sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed performance measurements based on volume budgets, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
- Product Marketing: Market our products and offer value-added services to drive sales growth.
- Account Development: Develop strong business relationships in growing existing accounts and prospects for opportunities within the account base.
- Opportunity Qualification: Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about new products and acquire and share competitive knowledge.
- Trend Reporting: Share industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback with management.
- Leadership: Function as a lead for other ISRs with respect to processes, systems, customers, etc.
