Job Description
As a Supply Planner, you will serve as the focal point for Inventory Supply Planning Processes for assigned business units. You will collaborate with business partners to develop short and long term strategies to support the inventory needs of the respective business units. You will project forward looking inventory positions and financials making recommendations and adjustments where applicable, ensuring a balance of service and working capital using Blue Yonder Fulfillment and other legacy systems.
Responsibilities :
- Recommends and plans short and long-term strategies to align supply planning processes to support optimizing inventory levels
- Assesses current inventory levels and forecast to make appropriate business decisions that minimize costs and achieve corporate working capital and service level objectives
- Engages collaboratively with stakeholders to review purchase forecasts, proposed order recommendations, operational scenarios which contribute to a greater customer experience
- Solidifies market and business intelligence to improve statistical forecast models for customers, verticals or products through analysis and engagement with SME's
- Reviews, resolves and escalates exceptions to the relevant stakeholders ensuring a smooth ordering process for procurement
- Develops and monitors internal and external key performance indicators including forecast accuracy and vendor scorecard metrics
- Generates integrity with the planning model through quality inputs to Supply Planning tools and support systems
- Maintains supply data moderate to complex reporting : consensus and customer forecasts, inventory positions, inbound outbound, shortage and excess lists
