What You'll Do
The IT Solutions Analyst will become a subject matter expert on the WeShip Express operational and customer-facing applications, and how we integrate with our customers. The solutions analyst will work closely with the sales team as their solutions resource to understand the needs of the customer which solution best fits the customer. They will also coordinate with other key departments as needed to ensure each group understands the customer and the associated solution required. Once the sale is complete, the solutions analyst will transition the customer to the onboarding team and stay engaged as the technical resource to the onboarding team to assist as needed. When not supporting sales and onboarding, the solutions analyst will collaborate on other projects within IT on gathering and documenting business requirements, documenting business/process flows through deployment.

Essential Functions And Basic Duties
Application/Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Develop a deep understanding of the WSE technology platforms that support our internal operations, TMS, WMS, Fulfillment, Cross-Docking etc.
- Develop a deep understanding of the WSE technology platforms that support our customer service teams and our customers directly.
- Develop a deep understanding of the WSE integration platforms that we use to integrate with our customer’s e-comm platforms and ERP systems.
- Work across business domains/departments to review business processes and develop or change processes as required to implement new customers, services and/or businesses within the WeShip tech stack.
- Collaborate with customer onboarding to ensure operational readiness of new customer implementations.
- Act as technical contact for both the sales team during the sales process and the onboarding team during the onboarding/implementation of the customer.
- Document business requirements for new and/ or changes in functionality and document associated data flows and business processes.
- Assist with the creation and delivery of training material for new functionality deployments and/or new customer implementations
- Provide system support as needed.
- Collaborate on projects to understand, plan, and prioritize development and future feature implementations.
- Work with operations on continuous process improvement of the systems and business processes.
- Owns and completes all special projects assigned by VP, Information Technology.
- Performs other duties as assigned by VP, Information Technology.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Strong knowledge of operational and business processes
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in creating business requirement documents, business process flows and data flows.
- Strong knowledge of development cycles and standards.
- Thorough understanding of technological solutions deployed.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Four or more years of progressive business/solutions analyst experience.
- Strong working knowledge of and experience working at a 3PL with DTC services
- Experience working on projects or even leading projects in a logistics and/or fulfillment environment required.
- Working knowledge of the wine and alcohol industry would be a plus.
- Excellent business analyst skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and a strong desire to learn
- Ability to build consensus and work with people from the floor of the DC to c-suite.
- Strong oral and written communications abilities.
- Solid technical and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to use all related computer equipment and applications.

- Hiring range for Base Compensation Range: $85,000 - $115,000; actual offer dependent on experience and qualifications

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
