We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment for children aged preschool to toddler care.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues while maintaining open communication.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
Skills
- Experience working with students in preschool or toddler care settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
- Ability to educate and engage young children through creative activities and play-based learning.
- Previous experience in childcare or babysitting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of best practices for working with children with disabilities is a plus.
