Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with 1-3 years work experience in a manufacturing setting.
This is an important position in our Company, and it offers career advancement opportunities. This position falls within of our Engineering Department and will report directly to our Engineering Manager.
Initial Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for incoming and outgoing inspections.
2. Writing QC inspection reports as soon as possible following completion of the products and by maintaining logs to track trends in Worker quality performance.
3. Conduct preliminary root cause analysis to identify potential causes of issues & problems.
4. Participate in Weekly Meetings with supervisor to review and track trends in QC/QA.
6. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, product designs, etc.
Physical Demands:
· May involve some repetitive motions.
· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
· May also engage in occasional bending, stooping, squatting, reaching and being in awkward positions.
· Due to the open environment of the shop area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
Requirements: To be considered, a candidate must:
· Have 1-3 years quality work experience in a demanding manufacturing setting.
· Be able to communicate effectively and to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
· Have knowledge of materials and manufacturing (machining, welding, casting) processes.
· Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Be able to follow and carry through assignments with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
