What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurses Part-Time Hourly position at Wesleyan School?
Wesleyan is accepting applications for part-time, hourly, prn nurses, to assist in the middle/high school clinic two to three days a week from the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You must have a current Georgia nursing license, be in good standing with the Georgia board of nursing, and have current CPR/AED certification.
Job requirements are: administering basic first aid to students and staff for minor injuries and illness, such as minor cuts, scrapes, and head injuries; helping with administration of prescription medication and over-the-counter medication, ensuring proper dosage and documentation; maintaining detailed records of student visits and communication with parents when needed; assisting during emergency situations as needed to monitor vital signs and follow emergency protocols.
Prior pediatric experience is preferred.
