Job Title: Electrical Foreman/Superintendent
Compensation: $50 Depending on Experience
Employment Type: Full-Time 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Location: Woodbridge, VA
We are seeking an experienced commercial Electrical Foreman/Superintendent with 10 years of electrical work experience. As an Electrical Foreman/Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical projects. You will work closely with our clients and engineers to ensure our projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for creating plans, coordinating resources, and managing the project team. You will also monitor progress, resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status. At WesMart, the Electrical Foreman/Superintendent is a hands on job and plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects. Regular attendance is essential in this frontline position. Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical systems, equipment and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Conduct preventative maintenance.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Deliver and install electrical components.
- Follow established safety practices and procedures.
- Support the mission, vision, and core values of the company.
Qualifications:
- Must be self-sufficient and able to work on your own and with your team.
- At least 10 years of commercial electrical experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational/technical or certification preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of shop tools required.
- A valid driver’s license is required, CDL is a plus.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Ability to pass background check.
- Ability to pass drug screen.
