Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential garage doors, including roll-up and high-lift systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications for accurate installations.
- Perform frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and related modifications for door installations.
- Fabricate and build custom components as needed.
- Conduct inspections to ensure proper functionality, alignment, and safety compliance.
- Work efficiently with team members on-site to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Provide professional customer service, addressing client questions and concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial garage door installation (roll-up doors, high-lift systems, etc.).
- Knowledge of welding, and other related skills is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required for transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry trends.
