Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef, based in Narragansett, RI. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the quality of dishes served. Responsibilities also include supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory and supplies, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and contributing to creating new recipes and dishes.
Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of professional kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary school diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field is preferred
- Ability to create and develop new recipes and menu items
