Description
West Central Equipment, the John Deere agriculture and turf equipment dealer in Butler, PA is seeking a Service Technician. We offer a quarterly performance bonus program and tool allowance in addition to competitive wages and generous employee benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on riding mowers, tractors and hand-held equipment
- Perform setup and pre-delivery preparation of riding mowers, tractors and implements
- Maintain current knowledge of John Deere products and competitive products
- Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Complete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignment
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience performing service repairs on tractors and lawn & garden equipment required
- Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and following technical manual procedures required
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in tractors and mowers desired
- Good communication skills required
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Valid drivers license required
- Standard Toolbox required, specialized tools provided by company
