We are looking for a detail-orientated Staff Accountant to join our team! This role has a strong focus on Accounts Receivable, while also supporting Accounts Payable, Payroll, and general accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Process customer credit applications and close daily sales orders
- Post cash, check, and credit card payments
- Reconcile daily deposits and monthly net sales reports
- Send customer statements and issue credits with documentation
- Review and follow up on aging AR
- Assist with recordkeeping and year-end closing tasks
Accounts Payable
- Match supplier invoices with packing slips and verify accuracy
- Post inventory and non-inventory invoices in SAGE100
- Process vendor payments and maintain accurate records
- Take advantage of early payment discounts
- Support vendor setup and purchasing team as needed
Payroll Support
- Process weekly timesheets and track PTO, VAC, and sick leave
- Maintain attendance records and ensure proper approvals
Additional Duties
- Support performance tracking and reporting
- Help with mail handling and supply inventory
- Support company as Safety Coordinator maintaining OSHA LOG
- Assist CFO and President with any tasks required
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in business accounting.
- Extensive background experience as an accountant, minimum of four (4) consecutive years.
- Experience in full-cycle AR/AP
- Proficiency in SAGE100 (a plus) or similar ERP
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annual salary
