About the Role
Operating out of the Vancouver division, the Redux Services Consultant is responsible for acquiring new customers for all Redux Services and for providing customer service to existing Redux customers. Redux services include used cooking oil recycling, trap grease services, pre-consumer food waste repurposing, and bone and fat recycling.
A valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for this position.
Annual base salary range: $60K to $68K

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Secure potential customers by answering product and service questions and develop additional business by suggesting information about other products and services offered by Redux. • Contact potential customers by performing sales calls or site visits to provide information about Redux services. • Conduct site assessments and collect accurate service details to ensure Redux service technicians and drivers can easily and professionally service our customers. • Responsible for new customer setup in database, from first customer contact to active customer account. • Open new customer accounts by recording account information and maintain existing customer records by updating account information. • Resolve Redux product and service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution. • Recommend potential products or services to Redux Management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs.• Research and investigate in order to keep up about changes in competition, price and services in the market place.• Ensuring all customer records added are properly entered into the WCRL internal system. • Support and assist any training that may be required from time to time. • Adhere to the company Code of Conduct and all West Coast Reduction Ltd. Policies.• Foster a positive team and company culture by ensuring treatment of others is respectful and aligned with company values.• Be accessible outside of regular business hours to assist with customer requests.• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Two to five years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience combined.• Knowledge of MS Office Suite is required.• Knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One would be an asset. • Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license.• Must be able to travel within BC and other provinces.• Strong communication skills - verbal and written.• Ability to work hours required as per business needs and be available on an ad-hoc basis after regular business hours to respond to customers by phone or email. • Physically capable of lifting grease trap lids (75lbs) to perform assessments.• Ability to move service bins (300lbs estimated) for delivery to customers and use a forklift on an occasional basis.
