Superintendent for Quality Custom Home Builder

Desirable company looking to expand our team and seek an experienced superintendent who is motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player to oversee and coordinate all the activities on construction job sites. We are an established family-owned company in the construction industry. For 37 years, West Construction has been remodeling and constructing quality custom homes in Arizona.

· Manage and communicate effectively with multiple subcontractors, vendors, and home-owners to meet project deadlines

· Oversee multiple job sites, manage daily progress including scheduling, communicating with subcontractors, and updates

· Review drawings to gain a full understanding of the project and plan ahead to mitigate potential issues ahead of work being completed

· Ensure the project complies with all building codes and other conditions; maintain high-quality standards and maintain a safe working environment

· Maintaining project records and reports

· Keep job site clean and open/lock up on a daily basis

· Maintain up to date daily logs with accurate description of jobsite activities

· Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions

· Walk projects daily to monitor activities and assist in future scheduling

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years’ experience of on-site construction supervision

Must be able to read and scale construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, read a tape measure, and project schedules

Organized and detail oriented

Efficient with time and self-starter

Working knowledge of Air Quality Regulations including dust logs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be authorized to work in the US and have a valid driver’s license

Must pass a drug screen and background check. Tobacco free company.
