The BDC Service Representative is responsible for handling inbound and outbound communication with customers regarding service appointments, inquiries, and follow-ups. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively prioritize tasks and provide timely assistance to customers. The BDC Service Representative plays a key role in maximizing service department efficiency, customer retention, and overall dealership profitability.
What You’ll Do :
- Manage inbound calls, emails, and online chat inquiries related to service appointments, pricing, and inquiries.
- Initiate outbound calls to schedule service appointments, follow up on service visits, and gather customer feedback.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to customers regarding service offerings, pricing, and dealership policies.
- Ensure all customer interactions are handled with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
- Schedule service appointments based on customer preferences, service advisor availability, and dealership capacity.
- Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to optimize appointment scheduling and minimize downtime.
- Confirm service appointments with customers via phone, email, or text message to ensure attendance.
- Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
- Solicit feedback from customers regarding their service experience and relay relevant information to management for continuous improvement.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to build rapport and encourage repeat business.
- Accurately record customer information, service requests, and appointment details in dealership CRM system.
- Update customer records with relevant notes, service history, and communication logs for future reference.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and up-to-date database of customer information for marketing and communication purposes.
- Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership staff to ensure seamless customer service experiences.
- Communicate relevant customer information and appointment details to service department personnel to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and overall performance.
What You’ll Need :
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in computer applications, including CRM systems, email, and Microsoft Office.
