REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES : Under the direction of assigned administrator, collaborates with special education teachers, classroom teachers, administrators, and other appropriate personnel to assist in the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans and provide one-on-one and / or group Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to designated students; assists the teacher in providing behavioral support to behaviorally challenged students; monitors and redirects student progress regarding inappropriate behaviors and performance; supports acquisition of appropriate skills and behaviors; performs a variety of responsible and specialized tasks in the physical care and classroom instruction of students with disabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Advanced education, such as an Associate (AA) degree, or education beyond an AA degree is highly desirable. One year experience providing support services to children with serious behavioral and / or emotional needs is desirable. Copy of High School Diploma required / or college transcripts.
