Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring all staff adhere to food safety regulations and best practices.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with the Director of Food Services to develop menu items that reflect the establishment's culinary vision.
- Ensure that all food preparation meets quality standards and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak service times.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during service promptly and professionally.
