We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our civil and criminal defense litigation teams. This is a full-time position at our office location in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Partial remote work may be considered after six months of employment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to our litigation attorneys.
- Assist with the preparation, filing, and service of legal documents in state and federal courts for both civil and criminal defense practices.
- Manage calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings.
- Maintain accurate and organized client files.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Assit with the drafting of basic legal documents and correspondence.
- Assist with billing and timekeeping.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in a litigation setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Experience with Clio or other practice management systesms is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with Wisconsin and federal e-filing systems.
