Teacher Assistant - Remediation

Provides assistance to students and teachers as assigned by the school principal. Interest in and ability to work with students and teachers at the high school level. Some keyboarding/computer skills preferred.

To qualify as a paraprofessional, one of the following requirements must be met:

• Passed the ParaPro Assessment (within the first year of employment)
• Completed 48 credit hours of college level classes

Effective Date: February 5, 2025 or ASAP

The Board of School Trustees reserves the right to waive or modify these specifications.
