- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondences in the English language.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, expressively, and reactively.

SUMMARY: The Health/Physical Education (PE) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Teacher will teach Health/PE classes while also serving as a leader in the MTSS program for graduation success. This position will be responsible for delivering engaging and standards-based Health/PE instruction, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with staff to implement targeted interventions that support learner progress toward graduation.
The Health/PE and MTSS Teacher creates an engaging, nurturing, and safe learning environment that allows learners to develop their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing; providing instruction, future ready skills, knowledge, and dispositions to be compassionate, lifelong-learners, and contributing citizens in a rapidly changing world.
