Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Our healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating fixed x-ray equipment and/or portable C-arm equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body for the purpose of diagnosing medical problems for the benefit of the referring physicians and their patients.
Responsibilities:
- Operate fixed x-ray equipment and/or portable C-arm equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of designated portions of the body.
- Position patients and equipment to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Follow established protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.

Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum education requirement is high school diploma or GED.
• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) prior to hire and/or transfer into a Radiology Technologist position and maintain certification throughout employment in this position.
• Must hold a State of Florida license prior to hire and/or transfer into this position and maintain license throughout employment in this position.
• Must hold and maintain Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification, in accordance with American Heart Association training.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology field preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Strength (Lift/Carry/Push/Pull): Light (exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally)
• Standing/Walking: Frequently
• Keyboarding/Dexterity: Frequently
• Must be able to be mobile and work in various positions (standing, sitting, bending, and walking) for extended periods of time during an 8-hour period/workday.
• Able to aid patients on and off table.
• Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods.
• Ability to perform constant repetitive hands and finger motions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Clinical back/front office environment
• Exposed to frequent and constant interruptions in daily functions/schedule.
