Job Description:
An Industrial Electrician at West Fraser Lumber Mill will work on testing and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities:
- Test electrical systems and circuits
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment or components
- Troubleshoot, program and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Work with vendors to identify needed parts
- Update instrumentation loop diagrams and E & I drawings
- Program AC & DC variable speed drivers
- Update power distribution system, MCC and switch gears
- Install electrical equipment
Requirements:
- Lock-out procedures
- Detail and accuracy oriented
- Planning and organizing skills

- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Works well in a team
- Highly motivated
Other Requirements:
- 4-5 years of Electrician work experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
