West Hartford Public Schools seeks a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude for an Interim full-time job coach paraprofessional at the Post-Secondary Program. Job coach paraprofessionals work with adolescents and young adults across a variety of settings in schools/classrooms, assigned vocational sites, and in the community. Lifting, walking, and other physical duties, including supporting students with activities of daily living are associated with this position. Candidate must be flexible, reliable, and must easily demonstrate effective interpersonal skills. Prior experience preferred. The anticipated length of this assignment is until the end of the school year.
Paraprofessionals are expected to exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness of job responsibilities at all times.

Requirement: High school education or GED.
Salary: per paraprofessional contract.
